Ted is Great but a Free Ivey Education!?!?!!?!

Dear Academic Earth,

First things first my apologies for the use of so many explanation points but if I had a starburst I would have used that to.

I saw a post about the website Academic Earth on a site called Springwise this week and I just had to share it with my readers. I've been a big fan of Ted since I found out about it a couple of years ago. It's (what seems like) never ending content always seems to satisfy my thirst for technology with the world's leaders. But every so often I get a craving for some good old fashion education and that's when I found Academic Earth.

Like Ted Academic Earth provides anyone who visits the opportunity to search through a number of genres to find exactly what they are in the mood for. Be it Economics, History, Mathematics, Architecture, etc. etc. you have the ability to choose the subject and watch as many of the lectures you want (an entire semesters worth)until your thirst of knowledge has been fulfilled.

Now its one thing to provide actual structured lectures that provide you with an academic satisfaction (you remember what that feels like) but all of these lectures are from leading Ivy league schools across the U.S. i.e. Berkeley, Harvard, Yale, MIT, Princeton, UCLA and Stanford. You might have heard of one or two of them before.

I encourage anyone who feels like I feel sometimes to enroll online and sit back and let your brain enjoy the ride.
